Industrial Electrician Job Description Join a clean and innovative environment dedicated to manufacturing. As an electrical maintenance technician, you will be responsible for machine upkeep, projects, machinery installation, and troubleshooting of equipment. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in a manufacturing facility. Ensure optimal performance of electrical systems efficiently and safely, minimizing production downtime. Install and wire new electrical systems at or below 480V for manufacturing equipment and machinery. Perform regular maintenance checks and inspections on electrical systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical circuits, control systems, motors, and provide necessary repairs. Repair or replace faulty components such as wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and motors. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations regarding electrical installations and repairs. Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and production to coordinate electrical work on machines or systems. Perform lock-out/tag-out procedures and other safety protocols when working on electrical equipment. Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance, and inspections, and complete maintenance logs and reports. Essential Skills 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems. Strong knowledge of 480V electrical systems, circuits, components, and industrial machinery and automation systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and circuit testers. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Familiarity with PLCs and programmable control systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with PLC/Controls is critical, particularly with Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Rockwell systems. Skills in controls troubleshooting, conduit work, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, and preventive maintenance. Why Work Here? Enpower will pay for part of the benefits depending on their qualifying criteria.
