Clearable Structural Engineer

A client of Insight Globals is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team in Annapolis Junction, MD . This individual will be joining a team of six Architects and designers to support a government customer. Their day to day can vary from doing structural design in AutoCAD, structural calculations, performing site surveys, gathering information, creating design drafts, program management responsibilities, and working with architects, mechanical, electrical and fire protection engineers. Additional duties include providing structural support on construction projects and construction administration. The current team most of their work is with existing structures that are small scale but fast track. This individual will be required to be adaptable to the different needs of various roles on an as project basis. $48/hr to $63/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
