PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer - EMIEMC Specialist for a 12-month, full-time consulting opportunity in Woodland Hills, CA (91367). This position offers the chance to contribute to next-generation aerospace and defense technology, playing a key role in the design and analysis of sophisticated electronic hardware.

This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.

About the Role

As an EMIEMC Electrical Engineer, you'll focus on the design, analysis, and testing of electronic hardware inpliance with strict electromagnetic interference andpatibility standards. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you'll your knowledge of MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 464, and DO-160 to ensure that mission-critical systems meet the demanding performance and reliability standards required for defense and aerospace applications.

This role may be filled at the Principal or Sr. Principal level depending on your experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

Design, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic circuits with a focus on EMIEMCpliance

Develop and support EMIEMC hardware requirements at the sub-system level

Perform simulation and modeling using tools such as PSPICE

Interpret and EMIEMC standards (MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 464, DO-160)

Support system-level and sub-system-level EMIEMC testing

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate EMIEMC strategies into product development

Document analysis, findings, and testing results in accordance with engineering standards

Qualifications

Principal EMIEMC Electrical Engineer (Level 3)

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years

Proficiency in electronic hardware design

Knowledge of EMIEMC engineering principles

Familiarity with MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 464, and DO-160

Experience with PSPICE for modeling and simulation

Sr. Principal EMIEMC Electrical Engineer (Level 4)

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience, Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years

Advanced experience with EMIEMC modeling, simulation, and testing

Same foundational qualifications as above, with demonstrated leadership in technical execution

Preferred Qualifications

M.S. in Electrical Engineering

Proficiency with CST CAE tools, Ansys EMC Plus, or other EMI simulation platforms

Experience with EMP modeling and testing

Background in Signal Integrity analysis, using Cadence or Siemens HyperLynx

Hands-on experience with system-level EMIEMC testing

Pay Details: $50.50 to $63.94 per hour
