Production Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production facility. You will ensure that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Responsibilities Motivating and providing guidance to production staff. Ensuring all safety and health standards are met by the production team. Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production. Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime. Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations. Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team. Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality. Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff. Organizing Production Plan - Ensures that schedules, resources, and workflows are aligned to meet production targets efficiently. Practice 5S Methodology - Implements the 5S system to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Monitoring Performance - Oversees production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. Team Leadership - Manages and motivates employees, ensuring proper training and performance tracking. Safety and Compliance - Enforces safety protocols and compliance regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Problem Solving - Quickly addresses production delays, equipment issues, or workflow bottlenecks. Continuous Improvement - Identifies areas for enhancement and implements strategies for greater efficiency. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Conduit Maintenance technician Pneumatics Electronics Construction Preventive maintenance Electrical Blueprint Schematic PLC troubleshooting PLC control 3 to 5 years' experience as a plastics supervisor Installation Service Repair Mechanical Industrial Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge in ladder logics is a plus. Degree in electrical technology. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime. Good organizational and multitasking skills.
