Position: Iron Worker Location: Sioux Falls, SD Pay: $28 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time About the Role We're seeking ahighly motivated Steel Erector to join a dynamic construction crew specializing in structural steel installation. From commercial buildings to industrial frameworks, you'll be working on projects that define the city's landscape. This is more than a job it's a career with purpose, precision, and pride. Key Responsibilities Assemble and install structural steel components (beams, columns, girders, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout plans Operate cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment safely Align and bolt steel units into place using hand and power tools Ensure all work meets OSHA and company safety standards Collaborate with foremen, welders, and other trades on-site What We're Looking For Proven experience in steel erection or structural ironwork Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Strong understanding of safety protocols and PPE usage Physical stamina and attention to detail Reliable transportation and punctuality Certification in rigging, welding, or fall protection is a plus What You'll Get Competitive Pay: $28-$30/hr based on experience Consistent Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends Growth Opportunities: Room to advance within a respected construction team Team Culture: Work with professionals who take pride in quality and safety Ready to Elevate Your Career? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
