Adecco is hiring an Utility Project Engineer Jr. You will work in the Public relocation department of ComED. Pay Rate: $46.00 /Hr
Location: Hybrid (Oakbrook Terrace, IL)
Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temp to hire
Responsibilities:
Work with industry professionals on utility infrastructure projects.
Utilize ComED records and GIS system to ID w ComED facilities are located and are they in conflict with Illinois government infrastructure projects.
Rmend next steps for PMs, try to OD any opportunities, make revisions.
Try to find solutions to conflicts and hand over to PMs to proceed with relocations projects.
Review engineering plans, perform analysis, identify conflicts.
Prepare engineering reply letters, plan mark ups, lists, and other documents.
Propose cost savings though conflict avoidance.
Maintain and update project database and records.
Propose design changes to eliminate conflicts.
Create cost estimates.
Support project managers and department in project execution.
Qualifications:
Must have Drivers license and car; fieldwork will have milage reimbursement.
Engineer with utilities projects experience.
Drafting experience, preparing plans for any utilities.
Reading and preparing profiles
Geometric roadway design.
5+ years of experience but open to 3 + years if have strong background
Good record keeping andmunication skills.
Diligent, attentive, and responsible.
Works with energy and integrity.
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required civil or electric Engineering
