Production Operator Job Description The role involves ensuring that all specifications are met. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for final inspection, checking parts for any flash, scratches, dents, or chips as they come down the line. You will perform spot checks using micrometers and calipers to ensure the machine outputs the correct product. Once inspected and approved, parts are loaded for delivery, with each operator responsible for inspecting and loading 25-30 parts per hour. Flexibility in shifts is required as operators may be moved where needed. Responsibilities Conduct final inspections of partss as they come down the production line. Identify defects such as flash, scratches, dents, or chips in the final product. Perform spot checks using micrometers and calipers to ensure product specifications are met. Load inspected parts for delivery. Work efficiently to inspect and load 25-30 parts per hour. Maintain flexibility to work on 2nd or 3rd shifts as needed. Essential Skills 2+ years of Manufacturing experience in a Production/Machine Operator role. Ability to maintain great job tenure without terminations. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of experience with blueprint reading. 1+ year in the automotive industry. 1+ year of experience working 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $23.13/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
