HONC Destruction is seeking a Heavy Equipment/Truck mechanic.
Responsibilities
This is a skilled position involving making repairs to and maintaining construction/demolition equipment. Equipment includes light/heavy trucks, excavators, skid steers, bulldozers and trailers.Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects.Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hand tools.Repair and/or replace defective parts.Follow policies for tracking and purchasing parts.Repair trucks in accordance with D.O.T. regulation.Leadership and Teamwork to keep fleet and job site equipment moving
Qualifications
2 years experience or certification with diesel trucks and various heavy equipment.
Specific skills to enhance your opportunity to work here:
1-Own or be willing to purchase personal tools to work on heavy equipment.
2-Bilingual
3-Welding skills
4-Computer diagnostics
