2nd Shift Machine Operator Job Description Join our team as a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, where you will play a crucial role in cutting parts to the correct size. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. You do not need previous experience operating saws, but you must possess good tape measure or precision measuring skills, the ability to read blueprints or follow engineered drawings, and a great attitude for learning. Responsibilities Operate saw to cut parts to accurate size and check for accuracy. Follow work orders to prioritize tasks correctly. Distribute finished cut pieces to the next department for material handling. Essential Skills Production experience. Proficiency in using a tape measure. Machine operation knowledge. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Familiarity with hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanically inclined. Experience with calipers and micrometers.
