Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Traveling) Aldridge Electric image 1 of 1 compensation: $50-$55 per hour employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Traveling) What we are looking for: Aldridge is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic and energetic team. We are based out of Libertyville, IL. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment for our fleet department nationwide. What you'll do: - Repair and maintain heavy equipment including heavy and light duty trucks, large foundation drilling rigs, loaders, bobcats, and other support equipment. - Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, as well as heavy and light duty trucks. - Perform Federal Highway Administration inspections. - Assure that heavy equipment is in working order. - Respond to and communicate with internal customer requests for service. What we offer: The hourly pay for this role is between $50.00 - $55.00 per hour. This role currently requires 10-12 hours per day, with overtime pay after 8 hours. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: work experience, education, training, and transferable skills. This is a union position and provides IBEW union benefits.
