Maintenance Technician We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to repair production equipment both mechanically and electrically. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, enhancing system performance to meet design specifications, and conducting routine inspections. You will operate dispensing systems, lead shifts, and ensure timely completion of runs. The position requires you to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and proposing long-term improvements. You will also manage spare parts inventory, requisition repair materials, and impart your knowledge to enhance team capabilities. Responsibilities Repair production equipment both mechanically and electrically. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality. Enhance system performance and conduct routine inspections. Operate dispensing systems and lead shifts. Ensure timely completion of production runs. Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Minimize equipment downtime and propose long-term improvements. Manage spare parts inventory and requisition repair materials. Impart technical knowledge to enhance team capabilities. Essential Skills Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair. Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems. Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks. Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints. 4+ years of electro-mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma, GED, Technical school graduate, or equivalent training. Preference for 6 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency with power tools and measuring devices. Basic understanding of machine shop practices. Experience with 220V power systems. Work Environment Work in a medium-sized pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in Rosedale. The facility is very clean and operates on a 2/2/3 schedule from 6 AM to 6 PM. Why Work Here?
