Position Overview
The Estimator writes estimates to be submitted to insurance adjusters, TPAs, and customers for approval. Additionally, the Estimator gets contracts signed and effectively communicates with customers, adjusters, and fellow team members. This is a critical role as it contributes to the growth of the organization.
Requirements
Note: This is not an entry-level position so training for essential skills will not be provided.
The ideal applicant should possess Three years of experienceManage all aspects of emergency and restoration claims (sketching, scoping, estimating, communication with customer and insurance)Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for mitigation projects using Xactimate and Symbility softwareUnderstanding of construction principles preferredCommunicate and document estimate revisions and supplementsIICRC Certifications preferredXactimate CertificationsInsurance Adjusting Experience a strong plusAbility to meet crucial deadlinesEffective, professional communication skillsValid Driver's License & insurable driving recordMust pass and maintain a satisfactory background screening and pre-employment drug screening
Responsibilities
Preparation of job estimates for property damage, residential and commercial, including Fire, Water, and Mold DamageUse of Xactimate and Symbility to write estimates accurately and in a timely manner to submit to Claims Coordinator in order to meet insurance and TPA guidelinesAssist with the growth of the organizationDeliver and Communicate estimate to Operations Manager
