Electrical Engineer This Electrical Engineer position is with Kysor-Warren Epta, part of the global Epta Group, located in Columbus, Georgia. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a vital role in supporting innovative commercial refrigeration solutions through expert electrical design and development. Join us and help shape the future of sustainable and efficient refrigeration systems. Your contribution: Design and develop electrical systems and components for commercial refrigeration units. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Create detailed technical documentation including wiring diagrams, schematics, and specifications. Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations. Provide technical support for production activities, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical issues. Assist in the selection of electrical components and vendors to ensure quality and cost-efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing system performance and reducing production costs. Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions. Your journey: You excel at problem-solving, technical innovation, and working collaboratively in fast-paced engineering environments. Additionally, you have the following: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical design or engineering. Strong technical skills in creating and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Proficiency with electrical design software and tools (such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN). Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (such as UL, NEC).
