Senior Estimator

We are representing a reputable Bay Area based General Contractor in their search for a Senior Estimator. The client specializes in a diverse portfolio of construction projects from Aviation, Commercial Ground Up, Multifamily, Historical Upgrades to Commercial Tenant Improvements. Responsibilities Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare materials pricing Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects and Engineers Solicit bids from Subcontractors, evaluate proposals and communicate with the bidders Prepare conceptual estimates Lead pre-bid job walks Qualifications You have 10+ years of Estimating/ Preconstruction experience You hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field Proficiency with estimating software, take-off software (On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam), and MS Office suite Knowledge and understanding of construction drawings Ability to manage multiple estimates and bids at any given time Excellent communication skills and an ability work well in a team-based environment Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision 401K matching Competitive Bonus opportunities
