We are currently searching for an experienced Civil CAD Drafter 2 to support our Midwest Region located in Lexington, KY .

What you'll be doing:

Utilize a CAD workstation to prepare civil engineering drawings

Utilize theoretical and practical design knowledge to aid in the plan preparation

Work closely with engineers and other designers to ensure coordinated design systems

Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings

What you need to have:

Bachelor's Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred

A minimum of five (5) years of experience related to the development and preparation of civil engineering plans

Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D required

Working knowledge of Computer Automated Drafting Design (CADD) or other applications or design or modeling skills

Proficient industry knowledge and technology trends

Experience using AutoCAD in preparing boundary and topographic survey for gas transmission projects

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines.

Valid driver's license.

A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
