Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and safety-consciousIndustrial Electricianto join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and testing devices. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions. Operate and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and motor control systems. Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions promptly. Assist in the installation of new machinery and electrical infrastructure. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred. Valid electrician license or journeyman certification (as required by local regulations). 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and safety protocols. Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Working Conditions: Industrial/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. May require standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment. Shift work, overtime, and on-call availability may be required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
