Estimator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. As a subcontractor and supplier specializing in specialties on commercial projects, we require a candidate with a background in estimation for a General Contractor, Sub Contractor, or Supplier. This role focuses on producing numerous bids daily, strictly dedicated to estimating. We are a growing regional supplier/installer, offering opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities Read drawings and perform takeoffs. Send out quote requests to manufacturers and review them for accuracy. Manage different estimates using Excel spreadsheets. Essential Skills Experience in estimation, construction, and blueprint reading for at least 1 year. 2 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Estimating, or Project Management. Proficiency in using Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, and The Edge Estimating Software. Additional Skills & Qualifications Valid driver's license. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in commercial construction estimating. 2+ years of experience in bidding projects in a relevant field or a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Sciences. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite, with potential visits to work sites accompanied by another full-time employee for training. Otherwise, all work will be conducted in the office.
