The role involves dismantling and assembling grain equipment, as well as building and installing custom-fabricated equipment in processing plants. As part of the service team, you'll stay local, servicing repeat customers and troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment at various client sites. Responsibilities Assemble or erect steel structures as needed for equipment installations. Interpret and work from shop drawings. Perform non-critical welding tasks. Establish center lines and elevations for equipment or machinery. Conduct complex rigging tasks. Execute precision installation of equipment, machinery, or components, including anchoring, leveling, and aligning. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude. Experience as a millwright, mechanic, technician, or installer. Proficiency in rigging and industrial construction. Use of power and hand tools. Ability to perform stick welding and fabrication. Troubleshooting and repair skills. Understanding of blueprints and mechanical drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of stick welding experience. 1 year of experience using power and hand tools. 6 months of job site welding or fabrication experience.
