Oven Operator Job Description The role involves working with an oven to perform mold building tasks. You will stand at the oven to heat pipes and form them into specific measurements, such as 45 and 90 degree angles. Once heated, the pipes are placed into a metal mold, secured, and then loaded into a dunk tank to form to the new mold. Additionally, you will engage in prep work for the oven while items are being processed in both the oven and dunk tank. Self-motivation is essential for helping out while the oven is cooking and molds are in the dunk tank. Responsibilities Operate oven to heat pipes to specific measurements. Place heated pipes into metal molds and secure them. Load molds into dunk tank for formation. Perform prep work for oven processing. Assist with lifting heavy materials up to 50 lbs, using equipment like an overhead crane. Collaborate with team members during downtime. Essential Skills Machine operation Production General labor Mold operation General production line experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 6 months manufacturing/production experience preferred. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask while managing oven and dunk tank processes. Self-starter with ability to work independently on a skeleton crew. Team player willing to assist others. Strong communication skills. Steel-toed boots required. Ability to lift 50 pounds with team lift or overhead crane assistance. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
