Role: Estimator / Sales Engineer - Commercial HVAC Location: Syracuse, NY Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience) We're a growing commercial HVAC company based in Syracuse, and we're looking to bring on an Estimator/Sales Engineer to help us continue delivering high-quality HVAC solutions to our clients. Responsibilities: Preparing accurate, detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial HVAC projects. Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documentation. Meeting with clients, vendors, and contractors to define scope and gather requirements. Conducting site visits to assess conditions and gather information. Assisting our sales team with technical support and project planning. Tracking open bids and following up on active opportunities. Staying current on HVAC trends, pricing, and industry best practices. Experience Required: 3+ years of experience in HVAC estimating or sales engineering (commercial focus preferred). Solid understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems and construction processes. Ability to read and analyze construction drawings and specifications. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
