Forklift Operator and General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a diligent and skilled Forklift Operator and General Laborer to join our team. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift, performing visual inspections of recyclable materials to ensure compliance, and engaging in general labor and yard duties. The ideal candidate will have experience working in outdoor environments and handling forklift operations. Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklift efficiently and safely. Conduct visual inspections of recyclable materials to ensure there are no nonconforming materials. Perform general labor tasks and assist with yard duties as needed. Ensure quality control and quality inspection standards are met. Essential Skills Experience in sit-down forklift operation. Ability to perform visual inspections and ensure quality control. Proficiency in general labor tasks and yard duties. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have experience working outside in the elements. Previous forklift operator experience is required. Work Environment The role is based outdoors in a non-airconditioned environment, exposed to weather conditions. This offers a dynamic and open workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Clearwater, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27040.00 - $29120.00/yr.
