Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager with strong experience in restaurant remodeling, tenant improvements (TI), and commercial/retail construction . This hybrid role is based in Pomona, CA and requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple fast-paced projects from preconstruction through closeout. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Manage all phases of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. Remodeling & TI Focus: Lead complex restaurant remodels , interior tenant improvements , and retail build-outs in active and occupied environments. Hybrid Oversight: Conduct regular on-site inspections (as needed) while coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders remotely. Subcontractor Management: Source, negotiate, and supervise subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers; manage expectations and provide regular updates. Budget Control: Prepare and maintain project budgets, perform cost analysis, and ensure adherence to financial constraints. Schedule Tracking: Develop and monitor project schedules; proactively address delays and maintain timelines. Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards. Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years in construction project management, specifically in restaurant remodeling , retail/commercial , and tenant improvement projects. Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred). Tools: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar). Communication: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams. Travel: Ability to travel locally to job sites across Southern California as needed.
