Job Summary:

The team leader shall be responsible for all contractor activity and for overall supervision of the contract

performance associated with the CMS efforts. The Team Leader shall have a minimum of 15 years of Navy/Marine

Corps aircraft maintenance experience and may perform maintenance duties other than management functions.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Maintains repairs/modifies aircraft structures and structural components and engines of complex to

extreme difficulty.

* Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines,

hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

* Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment

malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.

Applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting

technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals.

* Position typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component

troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft

sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non- complex

electrical systems.

* Position is required to have a detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque

wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. Will

perform aircraft and equipment maintenance on other assigned MDS aircraft in a highly "cross-

utilization/trained" environment.

* Will be required to perform at a moderate level of competency in one or more of the following areas:

repair and reclamation, egress, electro/environmental, avionics, wheel & tire, sheet metal, composite

repair, propulsion, fuels, AGE, armament, munitions, non-destructive inspection (NDI), and

pneudraulics.

* Maintains aircraft and support equipment forms records IAW AF procedures utilizing AF Information

Systems and forms as required.

* Performs transient aircraft support, CDDAR team chief, Phase dock, QA

augmentation, Wheel & Tire duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

* High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience:

* Minimum of fifteen (15) years of military aviation, at least five (5) years' experience on the MV-22 within

the last ten (10) years.

* Minimum of five (5) years military aviation maintenance control or quality control.

* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint (or similar)

* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data

and special operating instructions in the same language.

Preferred Qualifications:

* The ability to develop and provide contractor availability and non-ability schedules to COR to identify any

gaps in qualifications during shift.

* Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining

a professional and non-confrontational attitude.

* Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed, and perform other duties as assigned.

* Must be able to make entries in aircraft logs and records and is responsible for providing guidance and

technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance

effort.

* Must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.

* Will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be

required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.

* Working knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance

directives, data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory.

Working Conditions:

* Will work in aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment

and aircraft.

* Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, or overtime shifts as required. May work outdoors,

sometimes in hot or cold weather.

* May be exposed to contaminants.

* May be exposed to hazardous conditions, such as when standing on scaffolding or climbing ladders Will

be exposed to loud and persistent noise

* Will be required to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety toe footwear, safety

glasses, etc.
