Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Highway Design Engineer position include: Professional Engineer (PE) license (EIT considered if near licensure); Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required 7+ years of technical experience in transportation design Experience with FDOT and highway projects required; water-related project experience is a plus Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads (highly preferred), MicroStation, 3D corridor modeling, and Microsoft Project Strong involvement in hands-on technical design; opportunity to transition into management Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and clients, while mentoring junior staff Prepare proposals, manage project scopes/schedules/budgets, and serve as Engineer of Record Engage in project presentations and client meetings as a key representative Salary: $100,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
