Job Duties:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
Assisting with customers' queries
Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
Acting as part of after normal hours on-call rotation
Qualifications:
Five years technical training or the equivalent work experience
Fundamental understanding of HVACR industry
Control system knowledge is beneficial, but not required
OSHA 10-hour Safety Training Certificate or the successful completion of the 10-hour OSHA training course in Construction Safety & Health within 12 months of hire date
Knowledge of the safety rules for the handling of high/low pressure gases, electricity and certain hazardous materials
Possession of current Class E driver's license and clean driving history
Certification as a universal technician as required by 40 CFR part 82, subpart F
Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds on a recurring basis
Ability to climb a ladder carrying 50 pounds
Ability to work on rooftops
Ability to work out of doors during hottest summer days, coldest winter days and varying degrees of inclement weather
Punctual, dependable, excellent attendance habits
Professional appearance
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well
Ability to create and maintain friendly relationships with customers and coworkers
