Position: Mechanical Technician / Installer - (Heavy Duty Gas Turbines)

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician / Installer to support installation and commissioning of gas turbines in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This is a contract role for a major project based in Texas, with a strong focus on mechanical systems and heavy-duty turbine equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute mechanical installation and commissioning of gas turbines

Perform daily maintenance tasks, including emergency and preventive work

Use grinders, torches, welders, plasma cutters, pneumatic tools, hoists, and other shop tools with precision

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support repair work as needed

Follow safety protocols and project timelines

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong mechanical aptitude and field experience

Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and fabrication equipment

Installation and commissioning experience, preferably in power generation or industrial settings

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred: Experience with 7F Heavy Duty Gas Turbines
