Lead Electrician

Position at Pilgrim's Positions Summary : Install, construct, maintain, and repair various electrical systems, components, and machines in industrial and commercial locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : *Proficient with PLC installing, troubleshooting, resetting, and operation *Bends and installs all sizes and types of conduit and other raceways in a neat and workmanlike manner *Installs all sizes and types of conductors (including power and telecommunications) in conduit, cable trays and other raceways. *Terminates and/or connects wire to terminal strips, lugs, instruments, devices, relays, and other control devices *Installs circuit breakers, equipment, panels, transformers, switchboards, boxes, and devices *Works with blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, and line diagrams. *Work directly with management Will work alongside others on the jobsite - including electrical work, welding, insulating, and any other tasks as required. Must complete probationary period and no more than 3 points. Watch over day-to-day safety, productivity, accuracy, materials, rental equipment and workmanship of each project . Oversee completion of wok Plan and schedule, review and approve all work to be performed on jobsite Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and subcontractors Interpret documents such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Calculate figures and amounts such as: proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Write routine reports & correspondence Fit and install iron pipe and structural steel (including welding) Install electrical conduit and wire Insulate pipe and tanks Certifications : State Journeyman "General Electrician" License 3 - 5 years of experience in an industrial setting Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Strong background in motor controls and wire three phase motors preferred. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to perform heavy physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily technical nature. EOE, including disability/vets
