Electrical Technician

The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding positions for an Electrical Technician.

The Electrical Technician is a management position that provides:

• Technical support to plant maintenance personnel
• Troubleshooting various issues
• Undertakes special projects
• All other duties as assigned

We seek someone with in-depth experience on the following control platforms:

• I/O on PLCs (SLC 500 and PLC 5, and Allen Bradley Panel View)
• Experience with Allen Bradley and ABB drives is a plus
• Solid state AC & DC motor controls
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Reliance AutoMax a plus
• A degree in Electrical Engineering Tech or Electrical Engineering is a definite plus
