Our client is a leading heavy civil construction firm specializing in infrastructure projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities, and site development. With a commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction, the company delivers complex projects on time and within budget. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Estimator to join the team and contribute to continued success. The Project Manager/Estimator will oversee all phases of heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction to completion while also preparing accurate cost estimates for bids. This dual role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for bids.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Maintain effective client relationships.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 3 years in project management and/or estimating.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, B2W, or similar) and project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of heavy civil construction techniques, including earthwork, paving, utilities, and concrete work.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • PMP, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $52.88/hr.
