Responsibilities What You'll Do:
- Lead the Way: Take charge of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, , Preliminary Endangerment Assessments (PEAs), Removal Action Workplans (RAWs), Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Remedial Design, Remedial Technology Implementation (e.g., dual phase extraction, chemical injects, air-sparging, etc.), Risk Assessments, and other vital environmental documents.
- Craft Solutions: Prepare accurate and timely estimates, proposals, and schedules that help bring our environmental projects to life.
- Build Relationships: Foster strong connections with clients and regulatory agencies through exceptional communication and interaction.
- Drive Projects: Oversee subsurface investigation and remediation projects, ensuring they stay on track, on budget, and on time.
- Ensure Excellence: Provide expert peer reviews on deliverables, ensuring our high standards are consistently met.
- Mentor & Inspire: Share your knowledge and experience by training and mentoring our talented team, helping them grow and succeed.
Qualifications: What We're Looking For:
- Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar Environmental Engineering with relevant professional registration/certification (e.g., California Professional Civil Engineer).
- Seasoned Expertise: At least 8 years of experience in environmental subsurface investigation, with 5+ years in project management, staff supervision, and client interaction.
- Regulatory Savvy: A deep understanding of Federal, State, and local environmental regulations and requirements.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional technical writing, oral communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to design field sampling programs, remedial design and implementation, manage multiple subcontractors, and interpret complex data.
- Quality Service: A reputation for delivering quality services and the ability to attract new clients and business.
- Client Advocate: A proactive approach to liaising and advocating for clients with environmental regulatory agencies.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet budgets and schedules.
- Safety Commitment: Adherence to our health and safety policies and procedures.
- Qualifications: A valid drivers license, the ability to pass a background check, and pre-employment drug test. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
