- Lead the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and provide client communication.
- Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control from concept through completion.
- Develop new clients for the firm and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and project timelines to minimize write-offs by keeping projects on budget.
- Write and review draft reports, including feasibility studies, stormwater management reports, technical specifications, and utility reports.
- Provide expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design, including SWPPP preparation and water quality compliance.
- Work closely with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- BS in Civil Engineering.
- EIT/PE Certification.
- 4+ years of experience within site design, site planning, grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- PE or ability to obtain in 6 months.
- 6+ years of experience within site design, site planning, grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion.
- Experience with infrastructure projects.
- Client experience.
This is a hybrid environment, starting with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. After a few months, it transitions to 2 days in the office and 3 from home. The Philadelphia office has 90 people and offers a collaborative and growth-oriented atmosphere. Employees enjoy free lunch every Wednesday and free breakfast every Thursday.
