Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile Construction Laborer / Carpenter Assistant to support a variety of job site tasks, help coordinate subcontractors and serve as a second set of eyes for our Superintendent. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general labor and carpentry tasks including framing, demo, material handling, and site prep.
Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and organization.
Act as a point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring timelines and job quality are maintained.
Provide on-site support to the Superintendent by monitoring work progress and safety compliance.
Help track materials, deliveries, and on-site documentation.
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
2+ years' experience in construction or carpentry preferred.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-player attitude.
Ability to take direction and work independently.
Comfortable communicating with subcontractors and vendors.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
