Summary:
The Pavers Field Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field operations related to paver installation in assigned residential construction communities. This role works closely with subcontractors, builders, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality installations while supporting company standards and customer satisfaction. This is a field-based role focused on direct oversight of crews and jobsite performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage day-to-day paver installation activities in assigned communities.

  • Conduct job site walkthroughs to verify scope, quality, and completion of work.

  • Coordinate and schedule installers to meet production timelines.

  • Track and report material usage and delivery status; escalate shortages or delays.

  • Communicate daily with builder superintendents and internal field leadership.

  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with safety, quality, and compliance standards.

  • Assist with punch lists, service work, and homeowner issue resolution.

  • Provide onsite training, coaching, and performance feedback to installation crews.

  • Identify and resolve field-level issues impacting schedule or quality.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily field activities and job progress.

  • Support Area Manager and Field Operations team as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in paver, concrete, or related construction trade.

  • Prior experience leading or supervising crews in a field setting.

  • Clean driving record and valid drivers license required.

  • Comfortable using tablets or mobile apps to input and track job information.

  • Basic computer and email skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills with both crews and builder personnel.

  • Ability to read construction plans and follow installation specifications.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and site compliance standards.

  • Reliable, self-directed, and adaptable to changing job site demands.

  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Field-based role working outdoors on active construction sites.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move for extended periods (8+ hours).

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

  • Must be able to travel between job sites as needed.
