Senior Deep Foundations Geotechnical Project Engineer

- Lead geotechnical staff in planning and overseeing field explorations, construction projects, laboratory testing, geotechnical design and analysis of shallow and deep foundations, slope stability analyses of landslides, settlement estimates, design of earth retaining systems, and ground improvement assessments for complex sites.
- Develop or review full design packages with geotechnical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
- Provide technical direction to less tenured staff.
- Work in a team environment providing geotechnical engineering services and leadership.
- Lead geotechnical engineer and/or project manager for a wide variety of engineering projects supporting public and private sector clients.
- Develop proposals and participate in other business development activities.
- Assist senior staff in managing client relationships, including business and new client development to expand the scope of our existing services.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, gINT, ALLPILE, GEO-SLOPE, GRLWEAP, LPILE, SLIDE, FAD Tools, SHAFT, SETTLE3D software.
What we prefer you bring:
• Master’s Degree with a Geotechnical focus is strongly preferred • Previous role with supervisory duties. • Strong leadership skills and willingness to lead engineering / geology teams. Compensation: The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $200,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
