Heavy Equipment Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator, working in the oil/gas, environmental, and commercial landscape construction industries. You will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including excavators, mini excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and crawler/carriers. We are a year-round company, ensuring consistent work throughout the year, including potential 7-day work weeks and 12-hour shifts. Travel will be limited to the tristate area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Demonstrate the ability to operate different types of equipment.
+ Work extended hours and overtime as needed, with a potential schedule of 6-7 days a week.
+ Safely operate trucks and equipment, including loading and unloading before and after use.
+ Perform daily maintenance tasks and report any need for maintenance or repair.
+ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in equipment operation is required.
+ 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers and excavators.
+ Experience in pipeline work.
+ Strong work ethic and ability to handle a physically demanding workload.
+ Ability to operate equipment with GPS capabilities.
+ Ability to use a transit.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ CDL is a plus, but not required.
+ A valid driver's license is necessary.
