**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Bremerton. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in the construction and repair of ships. This role demands a high level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform various welding techniques, including Stick and Flux, to join metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Experience with Stainless Steel is a plus.

+ Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

+ Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

+ Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

+ Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

+ Collaborate with other trades, such as pipefitters, electricians, and shipfitters, to ensure seamless project execution.

+ Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
