Electrician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and control systems throughout the A.R. Wilson Quarry. Work with Quarry Production Team to accomplish production goals, including Plant Rover duties as necessary. Assist the Maintenance Team to diagnose and complete plant maintenance. Work in conjunction with the automation engineers to diagnose and repair electrical and communication issues. Work around heavy equipment and communicate with Operators on a regular basis. Work safely to protect self and other team members from work hazards. Work in alignment with Graniterock Safe Work Practices, Core Purpose, Values, and Objectives, and support "One Company."

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.

SKILLS: Must have knowledge of high voltage and control systems.

EXPERIENCE: 1-5 years of experience performing industrial high voltage electrical work; single and 3 phase circuits (110, 220, 480, 4160).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Electrical accreditation, certificates or other certified accomplishments.

SKILLS: PLC automation familiarity, meter diagnostics, trouble shooting.

EXPERIENCE: Crushing plant background. Background in PLC control and variable frequency drives. Working knowledge of National Electrical Code. Experience with Processing Instrumentation. Familiar with 0-10v/4-20ma analog signal circuits and DC voltage circuits.

OTHER COMMENTS: Must be extremely safety conscious and have a valid CA Driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to work day/swing/graveyard shifts as necessary. Work is covered under a contact with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 234.
