Site Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to support various projects across the country, with the first assignment located at a Microsoft Data Center in Ashburn, VA. This role involves designing, building, operating, monitoring, and maintaining business-critical facilities for high-profile private and public sector organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical audit reports.
  • Create electrical and mechanical systems plans, specifications, and study reports to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Conduct field investigations as needed.
  • Assist or lead construction administration for assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Contribute to project sales strategies and assist in sales presentations.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and load calculations.
  • Understanding of building systems.
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of computer, electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, and construction.
  • Experience with Microsofts project management software for document and photo uploads.
Work Environment

The Site Engineer will work on project sites across the country, starting with a project in Ashburn, VA. The role involves logging data, taking pictures, and uploading documents as part of learning electrical and mechanical systems on site. This position is demanding but offers a pathway to a design office role. Compensation for travel, flights, and lodging is provided if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
