S & D Heating and Refrigeration Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, efficient, and energized person that has knowledge in servicing, maintaining and installing HVAC systems.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Monitor the status of all HVAC components using computerized building management system.
Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance (e.g., clean evaporators, check Freon levels, etc.) on HVAC systems and ductless units.
Repair and replace defective equipment, components (e.g., controllers, temperature sensors, etc.) and wiring.
Monitor, maintain and repair air handlers, fans and other related HVAC equipment.
Test electrical circuits and components for continuity using electrical equipment (e.g., multimeters, meggers, etc.).
Test pipes and connections for leaks using various test equipment and methods (e.g., electric leak detectors, soap and water, etc.).
Install, connect and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers.
Connect heating and air conditioning equipment to Freon lines using brazing and flaring methods.
Discuss heating or cooling concerns with users to isolate problems and to verify repairs corrected concerns.
Review prints, wiring schematics and design specifications to ensure proper HVAC installation and to troubleshoot system malfunctions.
Modify existing HVAC systems to improve efficiency and work in conjunction with other systems.
Clean water cooling systems and ice machines to ensure proper system functionality.
Complete work order logs to track and verify work performed.
Read technical documents (i.e., operations and maintenance manuals) to troubleshoot systems malfunctions and assist with maintenance and repairs.
Other duties as assigned.
SALARY WILL BE BASED ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
