Senior Waste Water Engineer
This individual will be responsible for the planning and design of water pumping stations, lift stations, reclaimed water facilities, surface water, groundwater, and wastewater treatment plants for both private and public clients. Responsibilities will include directing and/or designing projects, independently create layouts, detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates. Individual will calculate and prepare engineering documents for respective engineering discipline, including details, schedules and cost estimates for projects, performing life cycle cost analyses, performing hydraulic analysis calculations and developing hydraulic profiles, and coordinating with CADD technicians for construction plan production. This individual will be a technical resource for EITs and PEs ranging from 1-5 years’ experience to assist them in completing designs and producing construction documents. Individual should seal their own plans in their areas of expertise. Interest in a growth path for additional management duties is encouraged.
REQUIREMENTS:• B.S. in Civil Engineering• Professional Engineer License in U.S. State, if not licensed in the State of Texas, ability to obtain Texas license within 6 months of hire.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Detail oriented with tendency to adhere to established procedures
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, interact, and complete duties on schedule
• Must be organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Practiced in task management including follow-up and follow-through
• Ability to articulate technical skills and ideas both visually and @contextually.
• Practiced in technical writing and communication skills.
• The candidate should be a self-starter and results-oriented.
