Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques such as GMAW and FCAW welding, and capable of interpreting blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment to produce high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on steel as required by the project. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements. Operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Set up, adjust, and inspect welding equipment to ensure it functions properly before each job. Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metals to specifications. Inspect completed welds for quality, checking for potential defects and ensuring alignment with project specifications. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, wearing protective gear, and following company safety procedures. Assist with troubleshooting welding issues, and adjusting techniques or equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Education/Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent; welding certifications AWS, etc. preferred.

Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency in MIG and Flux welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of welding symbols, tolerances, and specifications.
Familiarity with a variety of welding tools and equipment.
Knowledge of safety practices and personal protective equipment PPE requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various positions e.g., kneeling, bending, or standing and in varying environments e.g., hot or cold conditions.
