Supervisor - Engineering

• • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A licensed trade (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician/Plumber) may be accepted in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Management and organizational abilities are a plus.

• Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction fields.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Current boiler’s license (or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment as required by the state).
  • Knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction) and building codes.
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission, OSHA, and other healthcare regulatory requirements is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge and ability to navigate common software and computer systems.

• • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards.
  • Requires close visual work, color perception, and normal hearing (including soft tones).
  • Ability to distinguish smells and detect differences in temperatures by proximity and touch.
  • Use of electrical equipment as part of daily duties.

This is a working supervisor position. The supervisor oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the hospital or medical center's buildings and infrastructure. This includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs through the work order system, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing projects related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and construction systems.
