Job Description: Responsible for oversight, management and administration of construction contracts. Accountable for implementation, execution, and performance of safety processes. Establishes and maintains positive relationship with client representatives.
Skills:
-Proven qualifications and experience in management levels
-Demonstrated effective managerial decision making and effective problem solving
-Understands how to conduct a safety inspection, and employee observations
-Is able to perform an accident investigation and complete necessary forms
-Understands who a qualified and competent person are
-Is able to identify methods of risk control, and OSHA's focused inspection program
-Understands how a supervisor's performance is evaluated, and the challenges that the transition into supervisor brings
-Is able to explain the nine-steps for conducting a performance evaluation, and identify the root causes of performance problems and how to handle conflict
-Understands the importance of document control, their role in document control
-Able to complete material estimates
-Understands the change order process, and the necessary documents to close out a project
-Understands the link between planning and scheduling, and how the planning process is carried out
-Is able to assign resources each activity on a project, and is able to conduct a job analysis
-Is able to: define quality control, explain the supervisor’s responsibility for quality control, and explain the benefits of implementing a quality control system.
Physical Requirements, include, but are not limited to:
- ability to sit at a desk environment (90%) for many hours at one time
- ability to regularly and consistently use a keyboard and mouse
- ability to walk up and down stairs and around the office
- ability to lift 25 pounds
- ability to proficiently use office equipment (computer, fax, copier, scanner, etc.)
