Mechanical Engineer

Looking for a Mechanical Engineer (hybrid/remote) to design and oversee HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and energy-related facilities. This role requires analyzing system performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize HVAC and plumbing systems for various building types, including industrial and energy facilities.
  • Conduct load calculations, energy efficiency evaluations, and system performance assessments.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design layouts.
  • Ensure designs align with ASHRAE, NEC, and local building codes .
  • Work closely with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall project plans.
  • Perform site visits to evaluate installations, address concerns, and provide solutions.
  • Support sustainability efforts, including LEED certification and energy audits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation software .
  • Strong understanding of mechanical codes and construction industry standards.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication abilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
