Construction Administrator

We are looking for a highly skilled Construction Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and managing shop drawings, attending meetings as the primary representative for school districts and government projects, conducting field reviews, and coordinating responses to RFIs. The candidate should be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, possess technical knowledge for reviewing construction documents, and demonstrate clear communication and ethical standards. This role involves a mix of office and fieldwork, representing the company independently most of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and manage shop drawings.
  • Attend meetings as the primary representative for school districts and government projects.
  • Conduct field reviews and coordinate responses to RFIs.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously (2-4 jobs at once).
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in technical documents.
  • Consult with engineers for clarification when necessary.
  • Process submittals, conduct field reviews, document work, handle RFIs, and review changes to proposals.
Essential Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in construction administration (internship experience at an MEP firm can count toward years of experience).
  • Proficiency in project administration, project coordination, project management, and document control.
  • Strong understanding of construction administration, data entry, and customer service.
  • Experience with construction management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • US citizenship and willingness to undergo a federal drug and work history check.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $50.48/hr.
