Licensed Architect Shape the Built Environment with Us

We are looking for a talented and experienced Licensed Architect to join our growing design studio. This role offers the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibilities across all phases of architectural projectsfrom concept development through construction. You'll work in a collaborative environment that values creativity, technical excellence, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural projects through design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including in-house professionals and external consultants.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget in coordination with senior staff.
  • Develop design concepts through sketches, 3D modeling, and practical, innovative solutions.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct code reviews, research materials, and prepare technical specifications.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal input and client presentations.
Required Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
  • 1115 years of relevant experience.
  • Active architectural license.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction documentation and detailing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to produce high-quality graphics for design presentations.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, and other design tools.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (within 400 miles) for project-related needs.
Work Environment

Our Architecture/Interiors group includes 31 professionals, primarily based in our Baltimore office. Project teams typically consist of 35 architects, fostering close collaboration and leveraging individual strengths. Senior Architects, Project Managers, and Principals are actively involved in day-to-day operations, creating a supportive and engaged atmosphere.

After six months, employees are eligible for ahybrid work schedule, offering flexibility while encouraging in-person collaboration. Our project portfolio includes a wide range of building types, such as data centers, office spaces, industrial facilities, and auxiliary structures.

We offerstraight overtime payfor hours worked beyond 40 per week, with many team members choosing to work additional hours for increased earnings. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
