Assistant Project Manager
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for a significant federal project located in Savannah. The project, valued at $30 million, requires USACE or NAVFAC experience, primarily focusing on interiors with some ground-up work. The duration of the project is estimated to be between 3 to 4 years on a military base.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and overseeing the USACE $30 million federal project.
  • Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Implement project schedules and budgets effectively.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution on the federal contracting side.
Essential Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
  • 3+ years of experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or relevant federal projects.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and managing federal projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with construction management.
  • Understanding of federal contracting processes.
Work Environment

The role requires working on-site five days a week, with some weeks offering four 10-hour workdays. The project is based on a military base, and candidates willing to relocate will receive a per diem for food and 100% coverage for room and board. The work environment is dynamic, focusing on interiors with some ground-up construction.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
