The Day-to-Day:
- Lead the design and implementation of End User Computing solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective and innovative technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, tools, and platforms related to End User Computing.
- Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, guidelines, and standards for End User Computing environments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure solutions remain current and competitive.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Provide architectural guidance to other technology architects and other team members.
- Document the design and train stakeholders including internal team.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, particularly with End User Technologies including Windows & Mac laptops, devices, VDI technologies and so on
- Experience in technologies but not limited to: Citrix, AWS, Azure, LAN, WAN, data center, Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, AR/VR, remote access technologies, Teams, Zoom, Webex and so on
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand and define requirements for small projects and enhancements.
- Can collaborate with others and solve problems with a positive attitude.
- ITIL Foundation
- Ability to work on-call or non-standard business hours as needed
