Role and Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance-The primary responsibility of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance electrical work under the supervision of an Electrical Journeyman and/or the Electrical Administrator. Specific duties include, assist in installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the utilization and distribution of electric energy, using a variety of hand tools, Use of measuring and testing instruments, Machinery control, relay logic level control, process control, lighting of various types and voltages, pneumatics’ scale systems, VFD’s, soft starts, motor control MCC’s. Other duties as assigned.

•The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
•The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
•The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50-70 pounds
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
•Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
•The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced journeymen.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to professional growth.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.
• Experience using measuring and testing instruments
