Job Duties

Plan, organize and follow up on requested work orders.Manage the work order system and ensure HVAC Shop work orders are completed in a timely, professional manner.Interview service requestors to evaluate the process to determine the level of satisfaction of the requestor and the quality of work performed.Customer Service: respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectationsCoordinate and execute utility shutdowns campuswide. Communicate with management and hospital staff regarding shutdown detailsMaintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Assesses gaps in policies and procedures, and create necessary policies and procedures to fulfill these gaps.Maintains and organizes the HVAC shop. Keeps inventory of shop supplies and orders materials as neededMaintains and Logs Air pressure relationships throughout facilitySchedules and maintains HVAC department schedule; schedules weekend and holiday coverageUnderstands and adheres to the Medical Centers Code of Conduct.Familiar with the Medical Centers Mission, Vision, and Values Statements.

OTHER JOB DUTIESPerforms other related duties as required.

Education/LicensureMinimum HS DiplomaUniversal Refrigeration License Preferred

Job Qualifications

5 Years of Master Mechanic/Supervisor Experience Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems Must be able to exercise good judgement and multitask.Must communicate well and effectively manage othersMust be organized

Salary commensurate with experience within posted range.

$75k-$90k/Year
